Atlas Gym - Tuesday

Oh yes, Rose was thrilled to be mopping down the gym today. Really and truly. Especially when other employees (the pink spandex-clad kind) kept walking over the wet floors and tracking mud into the already cleaned areas.

Rose didn't know where Jessi was getting the mud. She suspected foul play at work.

Dimitri didn't want to know where the mud was coming from, but Rose doing chores was something he felt the need to supervise. Or something.

"It looks like you missed a spot," he remarked, emerging from his office and stepping carefully around.

"Not enjoying your task?" Dimitri asked, years of training helping him not smile at her. He tossed a mat down to have a seat to watch.

It was even more annoying when he was obviously amused and holding it in. "Jessi keeps tracking mud everywhere and I've redone this part like five times," she complained. "So yeah, it's a freaking blast."

Which meant that it was cleaner than it was earlier but hardly clean.

"I'm sure the task will be there later," he said apologetically, turning to continue facing her. "Gives me something to do Thursday if anything." As though he ever ran out of things to do. The fact that he'd decided not to do anything today was already weird.
