With no classes to occupy his time today, Bod found himself in town for no other reason than he felt like being outside. The weather was gradually cooling down and he was hungry enough to stop at the bakery to pick up some pastries. Those had become a bit of a weakness over the past several months.
He hadn't stayed inside though. Bod had taken both his bag of assorted pastries and his coffee (it was something he was determined to try) to one of the tables outside so he could sit under the sun and feel the slight breeze ruffle through his hair.
He didn't know what he'd do this weekend but he felt like doing something. Maybe he'd find some place upstate with nature trails or just some place where he could walk around idly and feel a little less closed in than the island sometimes made him feel.
For now, sitting outside with his legs kicked out and a donut in front of him was good enough. He was comfortable and warm and lazy.
