There wasn't any rhyme or reason for Hannibal's visit other than he'd gotten a little bored with his self imposed exile in Abigail's house and he figured he was comfortable enough to make the trip without any reason behind it. He just wanted to visit a place he'd lived for years and he wanted to try and replace some of the terrible, awful memories he still had with ones that weren't so bad.

He didn't intend to stay too long. He actually had a few job interviews lined up this week and Abigail wanted to drag him to look for a place of his own but today was open and today he was going to spend on the island. He hadn't been too surprised to find it in some weird and faraway land. The island was a restless piece of land and Hannibal was just glad it wasn't somewhere cold and gloomy.

After making his way across the causeway, he'd wandered into the Perk to have a cup of coffee to start the day. From here, he'd probably end up in the park and maybe the beach before having some lunch and heading home. It wasn't a long trip but hey, he was out of the house and every little bit helped.
