The Trooper Station; Wednesday [ 07/20 ].
There was definitely going to be a lot of coffee today for Charlie Swan; he didn't imagine he was going to let go of the giant #1 Dad mug in his hands at all. He wouldn't admit it, but that was his favorite mug, one Bells had got him when she wasn't even old enough to have picked it out herself, but, apparently, even then, she had a pretty healthy sense of irony.
"Pretty cold out there for July, isn't it?" he asked Ralph, who just shrugged, and Charlie took a sip of his coffee and headed over to his desk. "Global warming, my foot."
