Mercy was a Native American. A real one. Or at least half of a real one. Her parents had both been rodeo competitors and so had she until a terrible disfiguring accident had ended her shot at winning the Worlds.

Now Mercedes "A'mazin' Mercy" Thompson was hiding out here on this little island, recovering from her plastic surgery, hiding from her adoring fans, and hoping to find a way to get over her new debilitating fear of horses.

And maybe looking for a guy to take her mind off her troubles.

All while sipping on her latte with her long super-tight-jean clad legs and cowboy boots stretched out in perfect position to accidentally - or purposefully - trip passers-by.
