Devil's Nest [evening]

Jack actually had to be on time for his shifts now that the sun was setting at a more reasonable time.

Stupid sun. He'd liked that half-hour of leeway he'd had before Eric had woken up.

Jack was behind the bar learning how to toss bottles of booze like that Tom Cruise movie.

Tiny was hiding.

The Devil's Nest was open!

Maybe Eric loved disco, musical taste modder.

He didn't, but he could have.

ABBA transcended the genre, after all, so there.

Eric was in his usual spot, drinking something that was probably True Blood, and texting Pam.

Hercules, dressed like a normal human being, entered the club, then went and sat down at the bar.

"I think I'll have a Lionskin Lager," he said, hoping that his favorite brand was stocked.

"Excellent!" Hercules said, grinning ear to ear. "May I say, you give the bar a pleasant... familiar feeling? An ambiance, I suppose."

"Pirates, not exactly," Hercule said, thinking that one over for a moment. "But I find that bars are better when they don't feel too clean. And your enthusiasm for drink is quite apparent, which is always a plus, in my book."

"...what if I pay for you?" Hercules asked, in all complete seriousness.

"...Why would I buy you anything else?" Hercules said, completely confused.

Hercules expressed soured and he narrowed his eyes.

"It has never happened," he said in a deep, angered voice. "For that would be robbing a woman of her ability to consent, and Hercules is no fiend."
