Karla had woken up today with a miserable cough and the odd light headedness that usually heralded a fever. Making a face, she'd called in some of her throat syrup, heavily infused with poppies to help her sleep, and laid back down to rest. The last thing she remembered to do before unconsciousness claimed her again was send Mini-Morton off to 'Dite's to take over her shift.
