A pity that Karla wouldn't actually be in her room to take her up on it.

A pity--or blessing.

"Mother Night, I can't wait to take a proper bath," Karla groaned, curling her lip. "I could generally sneak into 'Dite's once a week and take a fast shower in her office, but, for the most part, it was quick washups in the sink."
