Dani was getting Smudge saddled up for a nice, long ride when a stranger turned up to warn her that there was a loose horse outside. She had put the other horses out in the paddock, so her first thought was that one of them might have jumped the fence. She grabbed a rope and followed the stranger to where he said he spotted the horse.

Except it wasn't a horse, but a teal deer. But the stranger insisted that it had to be a horse because it had four legs. And then the stranger got angry when Dani insisted that it wasn't a horse, so she was not going to try and catch it. Dani last saw the stranger headed for the firehouse as he mumbled something about getting the firefighters to do something about the "wild horse."

It was going to be another one of those days.
