Rooftops, Warehouse District, Sunday Evening

It had taken Tyrion more time and a few more bruises than he wanted to admit to figure out climbing a wall with his newfound webbing. There turned out to be variables about the thickness of the strand, how to anchor it at the top, and his speed of ascent that he could only understand through trial and error.

But once he was at the top, the island spread out beneath him and the city lights glimmering in the distance were more than worth it. He pulled the flask out from beneath his cloak and let out a giant whoop.

He'd listened to radio that morning; he knew he wasn't the only one to spend the weekend with powers. He just hoped everyone else was enjoying them, too.

"Technically speaking, I think you have something of mine," Spider-Woman said. She had been out trying to make up for her rather disastrous workout yesterday when she heard the whoop. She knew that whoop. She'd made that whoop. She sought the whoop out. She found the whoop.

...The giant spider logo on her chest probably explained what she was talking about.

"Are you seriously swinging while intoxicated?" Spider-Woman asked, dropping her face to her palm. "This is why you should need a license to travel like that."

"Wait, you were whooping like that and you weren't even swinging?" Spider-Woman asked. "I hate to encourage this kind of behavior, but you're missing out."

"Oh, and I climbed. It's a thing I do. Hence the spider." She pointed at the logo, not realizing it was just encouragement for some people.

"I'm not encouraging you. I'm not," Spider-Woman clarified. "But IF that's something you feel the need to do while you've got that power, just remember not to aim your swing AT a building. You'd be amazed how many people just start swinging without thinking about it."

"Also, unless you've got super-strong joints, it's going to wear on your arms after a while. Which is an important thing since that's what you're firing webs and holding onto those webs with."

"That should work," Spider-Woman said, hopping to the edge of the roof to crouch introspectively on the parapet. "Just remember, if it looks like you ARE going to smack into something, you still have the other hand and there are buildings all around to help you stop your momentum. Sure, you'll look silly hanging there between two buildings for a few seconds, but it's better than a broken face."

Spider-Woman jumped to the next roof, yelling, "Okay, I hear the difference in the 'whoop's now! This one's more like it!"

"Not really. Not unless Fandom does something even weirder than expected," Spider-Woman said. "Technically I could sell you an artificial version, but that's not really my thing to sell."

"That's true less than you might think," Spider-Woman said. "But just being able to do stuff like that makes up for a lot."

"You should see what it's like when you're in a real city with tall buildings."

"Baltimore's probably the best bet at two hours away by car," Jessica said. "Um. Do you have a car?"
