Even after years of being here on and off, there were huge pieces of pop culture that Jaina had absolutely no knowledge of. So not only did she not recognize that the music today was alternating tracks by N Sync and The Backstreet Boys, she didn't even realize that they were two different bands until she heard a random New Kids on the Block song come on.
Not that she knew the New Kids at all.
And now Jaina wished she hadn't realized anything was going on, because it was much easier to live in ignorance when it came to things like this and she didn't want to ask what she was missing. But she wondered what she was missing.
