The weekend had made Alice think about kids, and having kids, and how horrible that would be. But most importantly, it had made her think about all the dangers that having a kid would imply for her. They were...liabilities, cute, noisy liabilities at best, and Alice felt a bit sorry for the people with kids back in her world. She assumed there were some, at least. The lady with the fake baby doesn't count That in mind, she had set up a nice sign that hung from the eagle semi-obstructing the front door.

So that morning she had put a rather impressive display of knives (wait what), maces and tasers in the front of the store. Sure, you couldn't buy guns for your kids, but maybe you could give them something else to protect themselves. Not that Alice wouldn't give a gun to a daughter she might have.
As if she would ever have a daughter.
