Anyone who knew April even the slightest bit was probably aware that she didn't often emote. Whatever feelings she had, she just didn't display to the public. It was fine for her, and it worked as a strategy for scaring people and getting people to mind their own business.

But. Anyone who happened to be in J,GoB tonight at exactly nine PM and happened to be looking in the right direction would witness something extraordinary. April scrolled through her Facebook news feed. She paused and clicked a link. And then she shoved back in her chair and let out a noise that was actually a lot like a squee.

"Oh my god, seriously?" she exclaimed, in a tone that was far from her usual monotone. "Holy shit."
