Alice had ignored her phone for the better part of the crazy phone days, because honestly, she didn't want to get involved with whatever crazy stuff the kids at the cool were. That was like begging for trouble. Come Monday she had heard that it had been something affecting the whole island, and it was apparently a Thing that Happened every now and then. She wasn't even going to get mad at that, considering she rarely used it anyway.

Still, as she sat behind the counter, Alice was going through the weird messages she had gotten, because hey, free entertainment right? She was going to delete everything anyway.
