In theory, Sam felt that bringing one's pet to work was unprofessional and irresponsible. In reality, the scrappy puppy she'd semi-adopted the other day didn't care much for instructions like "Stay in the house," and as such, totally scampered into the office behind Sam today, ecstatic to have the run of the place.
"Well, if any irate customers should come and give me a hard time, at the very least, I'll have backup," Sam sighed as she situated herself behind the desk. Scrappy, puppyish backup that didn't look all that threatening in the slightest. Scary.
