Derek wasn't in when Mira showed up at the job she originally suspected she would end up working for the rest of eternity. But hey, maybe Derek was able to escape because he found his one true love. Or enough true loves that it added up to freedom. Either way, it was something to strive for.

And that's why she started practicing making foam hearts in the coffee right away. That was how you expressed your love, right?

Jaye was back, and checking her phone.

At one point she looked up like maybe she was wondering where she was, and then went back to the phone again. She had stuff to watch on YouTube here.

Because all of Cade's shirts had mysteriously disappeared. As had half of his tattoos and his drug habit.

"Yo," he said.

And apparently he now had a New York accent. Okay then.

"Well, you're a little adventurous, aren't you?" Mira said. It was lucky that she knew a recipe for a hot, spicy coffee drink that couldn't be named due to a lack of research. "If you like this, we may have to name it after you: The Hot Abs."

"I'd rather call you a good time," Mira said as she handed the coffee over. There was some foam art on it, but it was kind of explicit. As a piece of foam art, it was very impressive, though. "But we'll have to see about that to make sure."

Cade took a few steps forward because the counter had disappeared. "I'm absolutely eager to show you my good time," he said because his writer also failed at innuendo.

"Not out here, sugar," Mira said, touching a hand to his impressive chest to hold him back. And also just to touch his chest. "We don't want any of the others getting jealous. But it's about time for me to do inventory in the back. And while I'm doing hat, you can do a little inventory, too. Of me, in case that wasn't clear." Since he was having some innuendo failure, she figured she'd just put that one right over the plate.
