Even after yesterday's taco special, there were still at least a hundred tacos in the fridge. Worse, they were getting stale.
It was therefore perhaps perfectly logical that the kitchen staff had decided to turn them into a taco fort. The wall was knee-high on Bay when she walked past it, and kept getting higher every time she looked back into the kitchen.
She commandeered a tray of the better-looking tacos before they could become building material, much to the staff's disappointment, and made a sign for outside the diner:
Special Today: Free taco with every purchase.
