Moobyland, Wednesday
Moobyland (as well as Taste of Thai next door) had been closed yesterday as the new ownership took over. For perfectly legitimate reasons. Nothing to do with shady dealings, or any beeping noises from any instruments trying to pinpoint the location of anything. None of that, and merely Hyperion employees getting used to their new surroundings!
But today was a new day, and since Hyperion did actually own both these restaurants now, they might as well make a few bucks from keeping them running, right? That was the word from the higher-ups, anyway, and while the people actually here might have had something to grumble about – especially with what Fandom had done to their skins, these random colors did not go well with Hyperion yellow – they valued their gainful employment/continued existence more than to do so out loud.
And so, there was a burly guy behind the counter, and Moobyland was open for (surly, red-and-white striped) business! Please pay no attention to any random beeping and whooshing sounds coming from the back room.
