Fandom Post Office, December 17 (Tuesday)
Well, Éponine was going to miss the random boxes of money but on the whole she wouldn't be terribly upset about that all being over with. In fact, the notably upbeat tone of her random snippets of song -- as relatively upbeat as anything she sang to herself ever managed to sound, anyhow -- as she went about the post office restocking supplies and periodically checking the fake snowdrift under the Christmas poster might suggest that she was, in fact, extremely relieved.
Drenched in chocolate, yes, because that was inevitable when she had to spend so much of her time outdoors, but even the constant stickiness wasn't enough to dampen her mood; it was better than freezing in the rain, which she was far more accustomed to than she'd have preferred.
She'd never argue with free drinks, either, which was why she'd taken to carrying around a very large mug with her every time she had to go out and make deliveries. Whenever she was in the building said mug was always within reach so she could sip from it every few minutes -- unless it was empty, at which point she'd take it outside and set it on the porch for a refill.
