Book Haven - Monday
With funds transferred and paperwork signed, Jones stepped into the Book Haven and surveyed her surroundings. Not having the inclination to teach for a bit, the local book shop seemed an ideal location to work as she continued to observe the island and its strangeness.
One item she found odd was that there was a tea set already set up for her on the counter. After ensuring no other employee had left this behind, Jones settled behind the counter taking the cup of tea with her. While she didn't drink anything as a rule, she felt it could be perceived as rude to whatever force had left it for her.
She flipped the sign to open as she began to look through the inventory and the store ledger to better acquaint herself with her new profession.
