A little old lady had dropped off a batch of small appliances that needed to be fixed; it looked like she'd kept everything that broke for the past 40 years. Cosima wasn't much of an electrician, but (when the woman kept singing about how sad she was that her toaster didn't work because she'd made toast for her husband in it every morning, and now her husband and the toaster were both gone) she decided to give it a go, starting with a vintage nightlight.

Somehow, fixing a nightlight required a song, and Cosima found herself singing as she tried to fit the wires back together.

I have a secret to tell

It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells
