Sparkle had an earworm. It wasn't even a fair earworm. It was that sort of earworm that he'd decided wasn't going to happen until December, dammit. But there it was, being all insidious and refusing to get out of his head, no matter what he tried.
Somewhere around noon, he just settled for draping himself dramatically over one of the store's mannequins and trying to get it out of his system by belting it out.
"Oh how they pound, raising the sound! O'er hill and dale, telling their tale! Joyf'ly they ring while people sing songs of good cheer! Christmas is here! Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas! Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas!"
... After every verse, he was punctuating his singing with thumping his forehead against the mannequin's forehead.
Make. It. Stop. Oh. God. Please.
