The Park, Saturday Afternoon
Sarah could've stayed in London a little longer. And maybe she even should've. But the older she got, the more she preferred to leave while things were still nice. Or at least relatively okay. So Boxing Day rolling around? Pretty much time to jet. Or, portal.
Which she had.
As anyone with eyes (who happened to be around – Fandom felt like a ghost town right now by Sarah's estimation) could see from the simple fact of her cigarette-smoking form walking through the park right now, a bag slung over her shoulder. There was also a scarf with an old-school superhero comic sound effect print around her neck.
Don't ask. It was Jenny's fault.
[ooc: Open, yes.]

"Guess this is how you get that seductive voice of yours," he said, smirking. "Raspy and gruff. So hot."

"Did someone inject you with holiday spirit? Or did Caritas have a sale?"

Just a hunch.

The gaudy, gaudy scarf.
"And some other rubbish."

She exhaled another puff of smoke.
"Don't suppose you've heard of that, up in space."

No word on whether that was an argument for or against what he'd said.

She considered lighting up another cigarette.
"Why are you out here wandering around, anyway?"

She knew what the answer was, but hey, he'd put it out there. She could amuse herself by asking.

"Oh, and predictable to boot."

She mirrored his smirk, if a little more faintly and more crookedly. "Shame."

The smirk said one thing, the shrug said another.

"Just saying," she said, and took another drag off her cigarette, "could be better things to do without you going off alone."
Maybe this was her way of having holiday spirit. Or, she was almost entirely sure Atton wasn't home right now.

See how kind and friendly and nice he was? So kind and friendly and nice.

"Coffee's good."
That was a deal.

So, she followed. Hopefully a decent way to spend an evening.
