Today Tony wasn't goofing around when he should be working. As much as he wpuld like to be avoiding responsibility for the day, he was having to go through the paperwork Pepper had sent over for his signature.
Actual paperwork and nothing digital. Because she was cruel like that.
That meant it was going to take him way more time to read over things deemed important enough by her to pass onto him and making the occasional correction. The super glamorous side to running a company.
In between each file he took a break to make for the coffee and sift through his messages in order of importance and who was doing the sending.
So, Jan's text message of: Ew, Green Goblin is on Fox News. made the top of his list to respond to.
Is Spider-Man kicking his ass?
And went back to the next file to read over. Which would have happened had Jan not taken that to mean 'please blow up my phone with messages now that I'm telepathically linked to said phone'.
I wish. He's one of their 'expert' commentators.
OMG, it's not even a joke.
I thought he was supposed to be in prison.
He is such a jerk. I'm going to call in and yell at him.
Tony rubbed his forehead and closed his eyes at the constant pinging in the back of his head with each rapid fire text message.
Jan, do not call into that show. Please.
Why couldn't he have a nice, quiet day?
