The Arms Hotel, Monday

It was quiet day at the hotel. Maybe a little too quiet, as far as Mary was concerned. So she was moving around the lobby, peeking behind the couches, checking under the coffee tables, and even carefully opening the janitorial closet to make sure nothing was lurking inside. Finding nothing, she continued to poke through all the drawers at the front desk, all the washers and dryers in the laundry room, and even the ovens in the kitchen until Gunther escorted her out.

She found absolutely nothing to worry about. That didn't seem to make anything better because she was jumpy at every single noise after she took her post at the front desk.
