Covent Garden Flowers, Wednesday
Peter was here again, arranging roses and carnations and...honestly, he'd have no idea what most of these flowers were if he hadn't seen them in the catalogues. But he was making pretty bouquets and mildly disturbing vases of the things, and he was enjoying the distraction and the patterns he could make.
He was pointedly ignoring both the feeling he needed to work on his magic and memories again, and the computer in the corner that seemed to have it in for him. He knew he was still learning the whole Windows 10 thing, but there was no excuse for it to keep beeping and asking him questions, and really, it was just a bit creepy.
There was a sign in the window again today: Help wanted. Flower or computer experience a plus! To which he had added, Employee discount! and managed not to add, if you can get the damn thing to cooperate.
The flower shop was open for business!
[Open post! No OCD.]

As she entered the shop, she was met by the scent of flowers.

Despite that he had stolen her favorite spot at the Perk the first time they met, he had proven to be rather pleasant.

He belatedly realized how abrupt that probably sounded. "Either's okay. Sorry. I'm still getting used to small talk again. How are you doing?"

"For my room," she added. "I hope my roommate is going to appreciate it." She hoped Cassandra would notice.

Why would he ask that?

"Okay, then." Peter waved at the selection of things. "Do you know what colors she likes? Or what flowers?"
no subject
"I don't know what she likes," Lucille said. Did Cassandra even like flowers? "As they are for our room, I guess we should both like then, so I will choose something that suits my taste. Something dark red? Roses perhaps?"
Lucille just went with her favourite flowers, not considering that they might be considered too romantic.

"I have roses," Peter said, "but if you're not going for romance, what about yellow, maybe? I think those are supposed to be more friendship-meaning. Or a mix of yellow and red, if you really like red."

Well, heck, maybe they'd cancel out the roses.
"Sure." Peter pointed and walked over to them. "I have red and white ones, too. Then you'd have both colors in one flower."

It was something romantic about funeral flowers, wasn't it?
