It had been a while since Jack worked a full shift at the bar. He always meant to, and then there'd be a class assignment or a shift in the law clinic or a chance to see Emma and -- well. Some things took priority.
But he was free today, so he braved Tiny's dirty looks, strapped on an apron, and took his place behind the bar.
An hour into his time there, he started to sneeze. Someone's werewolf nose didn't like almonds. Or sugar. And it especially didn't like the inescapable scent of them that came from a rain of marzipan.
"I should have stayed home with a mask on," Jack informed Tiny, who smirked infuriatingly.
