Needful Things; Tuesday [06/06].
Summer found herself feeling surprisingly mellow today. Like, she'd occasionally feel the urge to rant about something, which was typical, but then when it came to actually doing it...it was as though she didn't have the words. She would open her mouth, a whole diatribe built up in her head, and then she moved her tongue and...nothing. The words just seemed to fade away or never make it past her lips. Which...she was surprisingly fine with. It was...kind of nice, actually. Weird, but nice. It put her in a good mood when she wasn't spouting negative things, and it definitely put a curb on her babbling. If only she hadn't felt that way yesterday!
As such, she was tending to the shop as usual that Tuesday, just without the long internal monologues about how silly or stupid or weird something was. They were still silly and stupid and weird, of course, but she just didn't seem to have the mental capacity to complain about the silliness or the stupidity or the weirdness. It all felt very Zen, and she kind of liked it, whatever it was.
Needful Things is open!
