Furnado Animal Shelter, Tuesday
Today was actually a pretty mellow day at the animal shelter. Zack had found himself a puppy in the back who wanted nothing more than a lap to curl up and nap in, and so he was sitting behind the counter with a tiny sheltie who was doing just that. There was a lot of fluff going on there, and there were cute ears to scratch behind, and sometimes that was all a guy really needed.
It was going to be a hot one, besides, and while he could handle the heat no problem, he didn't exactly want to exhaust the animals who were all quite content to find somewhere to curl up and nap through the hottest points of the day.
