Fandom Post Office, August 1 (Tuesday)
Everything at the post office seemed to be as normal as one might expect around here, at least for the first couple of hours of the day. Éponine was suspicious, but went about her regular duties -- just with a few askance looks at her surroundings. Well. A few more than usual; there were several of those a day as it was, particularly when she was in the stock room.
She was right to be suspicious, as it (to her complete lack of surprise) turned out: by the time the day's incoming mail was sorted and ready to go into mailboxes, she discovered that the tiny knobs on the door of each mailbox had an approximately 50/50 chance of turning into blueberries upon an attempt to grasp them.
Bit of a sticky situation, that, even if the knobs did revert to normal afterward.
Tasty, though.
