Needful Things; Tuesday [09/26].
It was a good thing her shift at the store was usually a quiet affair, because Summer Smith seemed to have lost her voice. Well, there was something of a raspy whisper there, but it took some effort. It was weird, she didn't really feel sick, so perhaps the world was just telling her to just shut up for a bit or something.
Also, there was one of those old Speak & Spells in the toy section that worked mysteriously well for being such an old, old (totally old!) antique. So if she needed to say more than what her current squeaks and coughs would allow, she could just enter it in and be grateful that at least robot her had a decent voice modulation program.
In the meantime, she was amusing herself between dusting and sweeping by being apparently twelve again, making it say things like "Boobs" and "Summer is the best!" and "Morty is a little bitch."
