Yes, there were a lot of new plants in the store this week that all seemed to be about yet another holiday Octavia was completely unfamiliar with. But, those weren't the ones she was fascinated with today. That honor went to a small plant that had just come in today. It was kind of mushroom-shaped, and it was emitting a faint blue glow. And when Octavia went to touch it, it seemed to get smaller, like it was shrinking away from the touch - and then the air around it got colder. Or really, not just colder, but freezing.

Octavia pulled her hand back, and tilted her head. She was going to have to look into this.
