Needful Things; Tuesday [12/12].
Cleaning up around the shop had certainly been...interesting today. Finding gelt in every armoire and fancy-ass little box wasn't so bad; it was actually kind of cool. Finding latkes in the big cast iron and pot-bellied stoves and doughnuts in the antique little baby shoes was a bit more weird. Like, at least the shoe candy from earlier in the month was wrapped.
It did remind her to finally get around to finishing up that Hanukkah card for the Poopybuttholes, though. She even included a little bag of the gelt for the kids, hoping that it wasn't one of those things that would disappear once it left the island or something.
And she swept a lot, trying to make sure to find all the latkes and doughnuts, and she felt like she did a good job, but she left a note for Lady Ghanima apologizing for any ants, because there were a lot of nooks and crannies in this place...
