The Holo-Scene, Tuesday
Raven had been the proud owner of an open business now for a week. And spent most of it hanging out in one of the holosuites herself.
Was it possible to go under because you used your own services too much?
Whatever. If she was going to have a business go under, she'd rather do it in Fandom than anywhere else.
She had herself a giant chocolate-and-banana smoothie today as she manned the front desk, thinking she'd maybe practice her full-on shark shape in the tropical sim on her lunch break. Maybe a night-time thing. With lots of bioluminescent fish.
Mmmm, day-glo fish.
Special today: Underwater treasure hunt!
Man your own submarine! Fight a giant squid!
Adventure awaits!

Re: The lobby
He was absolutely grinning as he looked around, though.
"Heey, the place is looking good."
Re: The lobby
Raven beamed back. She wasn't over it all yet, herself. "Hi! Welcome, and all that. Here to fight some more Klingons?"
Re: The lobby
Strategy, he was good at.
Re: The lobby
"So, like, extra hardcore laser tag?" Raven suggested. "There are a couple maze programs, I bet I can load in some bad guys with ray guns for you to face off against."
Phasers weren't exactly like blasters, but they'd be a lot closer than bullets were.
Re: The lobby
Re: The lobby
"Gotta admit, I'm tempted to join you." She couldn't deflect energy weapons the way Kanan could with his lightsaber, but it would be fun to try to dodge. "I'll get you set up in holosuite 2. Want a refreshing beverage while you wait?"
Re: The lobby
Especially since he was going to be swinging a dangerous weapon around.
Re: The lobby
"Don't worry," Raven said. "This is purely a juice bar. BYOB." She'd had alcohol for the grand opening, but hadn't planned to make that a regular thing. "How about . . . pineapple, banana, and kiwi?"
Re: The lobby
"I actually know what those are," he said with a grin. "That one sounds like a winner. I'll have one of those."
Re: The lobby
Raven laughed. "Perfect, then. Though now I'm totally going to have to make you try lots of new fruits every time you come back." She pulled out a bottle of pre-mixed (but fresh coldpressed!) juice and handed it to him. "Some of them even I'd never heard of before."
Re: The lobby
He was going to have to figure out how to balance his Tuesdays between here and Kitty's shift at Caritas, but he was confident he'd either figure it out, or die trying.
Re: The lobby
"At least I'll have one loyal customer." Who wasn't obliged to be loyal because they were family, anyway. "Which is good, because I think otherwise I'll just end up using all this up myself."
Re: The lobby
Re: The lobby
"It's tempting," Raven said. "But then the alots would miss me."
Also Kathy. Was it possible to have three homes on one island?
Re: The lobby
"Wouldn't want to disappoint the alots," he chuckled. "They're kind of needy, once they decide they've found something they like."
Hoarders. They were probably hoarders.
Re: The lobby
"They really are," Raven agreed. "But the big fluffy ones make great beds."
Re: The lobby
He'd been around here long enough that he was actually guessing at least part seriously. Fandom. Fandom, why.
Re: The lobby
Raven shrugged. "Yeah, probably. An alot of snoring, too, but you get used to that."
