Luke's Diner, Thursday
Hardison was still angry about yesterday's potato salad debacle. He had spent the morning hacking Karen's various electronics to make sure that anytime she tried to look up a recipe online, she was added to another spam mailing list and also the search would time out because some people didn't understand that cooking was a privilege, not a right.
His anger didn't abate when he made his way to Luke's and saw the horrifying monstrosity that was their special's board today.

"Awww hell naw!" Hardison said, stalking into the kitchen. "You're fired! Y'all are so fired! Ain't nobody gonna eat that! What's wrong with you!"
The busboy just pointed at a table full of little old ladies who were munching down on tuna and jello, egg and ham mixtures in a cream cheese 'frosting,' and a dessert that made even Hardison flush. "They're on their way to a Bingo Convention," the kid said with a shrug. "I guess this menu brings them back to their youth?"
"You're still all fired," Hardison muttered.
"You don't have the authority," the Cook said, and patted him comfortingly on the shoulder.
