"I'll see about getting the room for longer, but for now, enjoy the food," he waved over at the table, which included cupcakes of several different kinds today, "and the movie. It's a comedy and nobody dies, by request."

Amaya honestly wasn't too big on sweets, but she found the idea of them far more palatable when they didn't come served by a man far too fond of hugs and talking about how the secret ingredient was love.

"Sometimes I worry about you." Hera came up behind Kanan and stuck her finger in the icing to bring a bit of it to her mouth. "We could always have brought some caf. Do you really need this much sugar?"

"Is caf suddenly better than sugar?" Kanan turned around to grin at her, even while he plucked the strawberry from the top of the cupcake and popped it into his mouth.

"We could have brought caf. Is there something you need me awake until four in the morning for?"
