The Magic Box, Friday
Nina… had, well, she'd had great plans involving more demon summoning circles because she was pretty sure she'd figured out which one was the one that summoned more Foomy types of demons but she needed to confirm that and before she'd gotten into work, that had been her plan.
Only, once she got there, she discovered the most adorable, teeny, three-headed dog ever
"Oh my goooooooooooosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she squealed. "Lookit you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Two of the heads were more interested in sniffing at Foomy than paying attention to her, but Nina just about died of glee when the third head licked her fingers.
The Magic Box is Open!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[And OCD free!]

And that was why she was swinging by the Magic Box with Mooby's today!
"Hey, Nina! Surprise!"
Did you like cheeseburgers, Nina? Because Vette had provided cheeseburgers.

Nina looked up from where she'd been sketching a doodle of Foomy and the puppy in her dairy.
"Vette!!!!!!!!! Vette, come see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Cheeseburgers would come after! PUPPY FIRST.

"What am I coming to sss- oh my gosh."
Hello, Vette had just noticed the tiniest cerberus puppy. Please excuse a moment taken to just make a sustained, high-pitched noise of delight.
no subject
Like, the puppy was so tiny! Who could resist?
no subject
"Help," she squeaked. "He's perfect."
no subject
Nina was going to be, like, no help at all. Not even a little bit.
"I was going to text you later, but this is even better!!!!!!!!!!"
no subject
It was the best dog, and this was coming from a girl who had let the puppies trample her in the common room the other day.
no subject
Well, with the help of her summoning circles and Norman's cleaning but, psh, that was a small detail.
Minor really.
"Soooooooooooooooo the puppy totally doesn't belong to anyone right now!!!!!!!!!"
no subject
While cuddling the little hell puppy closer.
Oh no.
no subject
Totally.
Entirely.
"I mean, like, no one would say anything if he snuck into my bag on the way back to the dorms?????"
So yes, yes they could.
no subject
That seemed important.
It was possible that Vette was panicking her way out of potentially randomly accidentally ending up with a pet.
no subject
Nina was totally going to rope Prompto into this, why yes.
"Let's eat lunch—thank you so much for that, by the way—and then go see what he says!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
no subject
She was quietly screaming inside.
no subject
"And, like, I'd help you take care of him," Nina said, since she wasn't oblivious. "Between the two of us, he'd be totally fine, right??????"
no subject
"But I need to go back to work after lunch," she noted, lamely. "I can't have a puppy in the weapons shop."
Probably.
no subject
As far as excuses went that was a terrible one.
no subject
Not that she would. Especially while she was hugging a puppy.
Oh no.
"I... don't know," she replied, weakly.
no subject
"I mean, like, if you don't want to keep him, I can probably figure out how to send him back to where he came from," she said, a little less exuberantly. Since it was obvious (to her) that the puppy and Vette were Meant To Be. "But maybe we could try a test run????????"
Nina, you knew good and well that if that puppy came home with the two of you, it wasn't going back.
no subject
"What if... I just come back to visit him a lot?"
That wouldn't exactly spare her, either.
no subject
She didn't want to outright bully Vette into anything she was uncomfortable with after all. Nina was pushy, not cruel.
no subject
She was kind of enamored, yeah.
no subject
She wasn't dropping the puppy thing for forever. But she was dropping it for now.
no subject
no subject
Maybe?

Though, really, given that Nina had Foomy, she wouldn't be able to make too many noises about the oddity of a pet like that.
"Are you going to make a body for it??????"
no subject
no subject
"Would it roll around instead????? Vette, really, I've got Foomy so whatever you do to that brain might not be what you expect?????"
no subject
no subject
"No????????" she said, though she'd been... half the force behind the three-headed puppy. "But, like, you didn't bring the brain here either..."
no subject
She... could probably at least puzzle out the functions behind those.
"I don't want to give it the ability to move freely if its first impulse is to start torturing people."
