There was still a smear of egg nog behind Beau's left ear this morning, because trying to take a shower had been an unpleasant surprise that became somewhat less unpleasant after tasting the stuff, go figure. That would also account for the two bottles she'd brought in with her, too -- what, like she was going to waste that?
The idea that this might be an island-wide thing didn't occur to her until one of the early morning patrons came spluttering out of the locker room, dripping egg nog and prompting Beau to sigh and ask, "Look, you basically got a free drink, so what's the problem, right?"
She hung a Shower At Your Own Risk sign on each of the locker room doors, though, just to try and head off a few complaints at the pass. Maybe.
