Around Town [Thursday during the day]
The snow and wind had continued through the night, passing "wow, this is a lot of snow", heading straight through "this is going to be really annoying" and landing right around "um, maybe the door facing the north side of the house doesn't open any more" levels and was still coming down.
So much for the idea of this being a bit of Fandom Advent whimsy.
It was brutally cold outside, as well, which was bad news for folks without generators who hadn't moved towards the locations with fireplaces. Generators all over the island also began failing systematically, aided by pairs of lurching, tool-wieldingsnowmen snowpersons snow monsters, with angry coal eyes, wizened carrot noses, and teeth filled with icicles.
Where had the snow monsters come from? For those with good eyesight and a need to go for a walk in a blizzard, an enormous iceberg could be spotted through the snow, floating just off Galactica Point.
It was probably fine, though, right?
