Peter was frowning at the DVD player today, and looked up when people arrived. He sighed. "Hi, everybody. First of all, sorry about last week - I didn't realize we'd started yet, what with it being the new year. Anyway, I thought I'd start us out with a movie about the guy the recent holiday was all about. Or at least the religious ideas of who he is. There are a few, and some of them are pretty good. Unfortunately, the only one this thing wants to play is...not that."
He gave it an exasperated look. "Hopefully this'll be fun, at least. Maybe you'll learn a few things through satire, anyway. Please ask questions if you need to."
He let the movie start.

Fjord had questions.
But that song at the end was oddly catchy.

It was, after all, the little things in life.

At least she sure hoped it wasn't! And if so....oops?

She was gonna be so annoyed if she ended up singing that song for the rest of the week though.

"Still loads better than that one where they fly off in a car at the end."
Peter, Amaya adored you, she thought you were just great, but she was never going to really going to be able to forgive you for Grease.
Re: Watch the movie!
A beat.
"I'm not sure I trust that. It was during the snowmen..thing.. and it was an ice golem saying it."
Bobby. Whose name he hadn't gotten.

"We have demons in my world too, but we'd never try to leave it up to just one man to stop them. That would be a little ridiculous," he offered.

Or at least a weed whacker.
"But on the bright side," she offered, "if it does track you down and hold you to it, they're never very long, and you might get lucky and there'll be some fighting or explosions in it, too."

"Jesus, he killed many, but more he banished with magic, and then he sealed our world off, so no demons could come through unless explicitly summoned, which almost nobody could or would do, especially after seeing the destruction they caused."
Re: Watch the movie!
"Fighting and explosions would be good," he agreed, "Cars too, maybe, as long as there's no.." A hand flailed in the air, "..whatever that horribleness was supposed to be."
Re: Watch the movie!
He huffed a small laugh. "Mages in your world must be very different than the ones in mine. Demons get summoned all the time by mages who believe they will be the one who is immune to corruption and that they have the strength to keep a demon from breaking free. They are all wrong."

He threw him a lopsided smile. "Tickles would miss you."
