Peter waited for everyone to get in and settle before starting, "Because Fandom's a bit weird...and just because of different times in different dimensions and such...I actually left my world about twenty years ago. This movie was really becoming big back then, and apparently it's been pretty influential since then. It's got a lot of different philosophies in it, and a lot of interesting fight scenes, so hopefully everyone will enjoy it. If not, there's always the popcorn and chips."

He shrugged and started the movie.

Well, it was a good thing that the majority of Amaya's day had presumably consisted of something she understood and comprehended extensively, because there were a lot of part of this that were going way over her head.

The fight scenes were exceptionally cool, though, and easily her favorite part.

And she probably should not be going away from this movie wondering more about the machines and how exactly they would be developed to eventually take over the world and apparently enslave humanity (she thought? Something like that? Use them as an energy source? Could you use humans as energy source for machines? Well, of course you could, all you had to do was...)

...but there they were.

Amaya was in an incredibly good mood for movie class that evening, and all that experimenting and testing and excitement over new ideas worked up an appetite but good. So she might be helping herself to just a few more snacks than she'd usually delve into this time around.

Fjord was helping himself to a fair big of the popcorn today, yes. He hadn't been around in a while, though, and it didn't take him terribly long to realize that popcorn kernels and shiny brand new tusk growth were a not-so-great combination.

Please don't mind the half-orc making faces and trying to dig popcorn from his teeth. It was not a great time.

Fjord... had no idea what the hell was going on in this movie. At least in part because of the popcorn-in-teeth distraction making him miss a few key plot points, but also largely because...

...

What was any of this stuff?

And so he was using this mostly as an excuse to add a few new faces to his disguise repertoire. At the very least, some of the outfits seemed like fun to wear.
