Community Center Class: Modern Earth Entertainment, Monday

Peter was looking frustrated this evening, trying desperately to get the system to play anything else. Eventually, though, he gave up.

"Apparently the island's not ready to let go of St. Patrick's Day yet." He threw up his hands. "I'm not even sure this is very Irish, but it's what we've got." He sighed. "Enjoy."

He let it play.

Amaya was rather fond of the color green, this was true, but, yeah, this holiday was really starting to overstay its welcome. Still wasn't going to stop her from helping herself to the usual bunch of snacks, though.

As soon as the movie got started and considering the way these sorts of things usually went because of her conversation with Fjord on Friday at the bar, Amaya was half expecting a film that was just a fellow's plight in having to peel potatoes for the rest of his life. Or perhaps his daring escape from having to peel potatoes for the rest of his life. Or (and this was the flip side of that shiny gold coin, because the former would make for an excellent movie and this, not so much) a...ugh, musical about peeling potatoes for the rest of his life.

But she didn't really get any of those things, which left her mildly bewildered, but also wondering what world this was in where leprechauns had a distinct lack of interest in making you peel potatoes for the rest of your life.

I have never seen this movie and am merely assuming on the lack of potatoes. I've just milking this potato thing into the ground as much as i can at this point
