Trooper Station; Monday [06/10].
"What the fuck?" said Rosa because NBC let her drop F-bombs while Fox did not, when she made it into the trooper station that morning, where the troopers were already finalizing their plans for patrols to help out with any unsuspecting citizens that might find themselves in trouble, especially consideirng how it was lurking around every corner.
So you'd think a day like today would be one filled with distressed calls about near-escapes and sudden attacks or reports on unusual activity so that Rosa could dispatch the patrols where they needed to be, but the phones were usually silent.
"One million calls about animals talking," Rosa boggled, "and barely a single one when there's messed up mutant things just, you know, lurking between buildings waiting to attack people. This island is dumb."
Really, she sort of hoped it just meant that people were being smart enough to not even put themselves in a situation where they'd need the troopers to sweep in and shoot up some deformed cretins, but...she felt that might be giving them too much credit.
At the very least, she hoped people would be smart enough to call for reinforcements since they had the option, feeling maybe a little glad to be stuck on desk duty today, and mostly wishing she'd thought to get Arlo 2 from the shelter yesterday and hoping she was doing okay.
