Trooper Station; Monday [06/17].
There was some debating going on at the Trooper Station that day, on whether or not this was going to shape up to be a good week, a bad week, or a normal week, although that last one was ruled right out on the fact that there was no such thing as a 'normal week' on Fandom Island.
"Good week," Rosa supplied, which she felt was optimistic, even for her, so it should mean a bit more, right? "I mean, it's obvious we're not exactly back where we should be--"
"How can you tell?"
"The shoreline, dummy, it's different. Don't interrupt. Anyway, the shoreline's different, it's still the Atlantic coast, I'm guessing somewhere off of Massachusetts." Yes, she may have been flexing a little on the fact that she knew the shoreline fairly well from the occassions she took to the air on her way to Canada. "And therefor not off New Jersey or Florida, and that's how you know it's not going to be a bad week. Hell, if we were off either of those places, I wouldn't even be here, you guys would be on your own, because screw that."
Despite Rosa's firm convictions, they were all making a betting pool about it.
Rosa was going to lose a lot of money this week, and she was not going to be happy about it.
