Miguel was back to normal. Normal for him, anyway. The diner staff was...back to bickering as normal, if nothing else.
"We might as well have pancakes today!"
"Saturday is for waffles!"
"But she's not here anymore!"
"You want to take that chance?"
Miguel sighed and made the coffee, then went for the specials board while they were still arguing.
