Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Monday [12/02].
Amaya needed to go make herself some more coffee, because her first cup was ceremoniously thrown into the face of something she thought was an intruder when she opened the door to head down the stairs to get started in the shop for the day.
It was not an intruder, she soon discovered, after throwing her coffee in its face and then punching it straight in the gut, which sent it tumbling down the stairs and gave her a nice surge of pride over her ability to handle anything that might try intruding on her, and she rushed down the stairs, where she could grab a weapon from the weapons wall to add to it if the intruder decided to try any more funny business, only to discover that the intruder was...
...made of chocolate.
It seemed there'd been a person-sized chocolate Santa just setting right behind her door that morning.
"Zards!" she grunted, kicking the giant piece of chocolate, just for good measure. "I hate December! Bah humbug indeed."
And once she had her second cup of coffee and got the forge started so she could get to work, Amaya realized that a toasty warm blacksmith's shop was the last place to have a person-sized chocolate Santa that was wont to melt. So, if anyone was wondering about the melty lump of chocolate sitting outside the shop that day, no, Amaya was not decorating for the holidays and no, she did not want to talk about it, and she was trying not to think about the fact that it was only December Second.
