Covent Garden Flowers; Tuesday [01/28].

Astrid wasn't wearing her gloves today, though she'd brought a pair (she'd embroidered sunflowers on these ones, during a moment when she was feeling particularly ironic) in case Seivarden came in. But she definitely didn't want to wear them while she was painting, which was what she was spending the bulk of her time at work doing that day.

Sure, there were a few orders to take care of, but she'd get to them, she could throw them together quickly enough. Right now, she had a stack of 27 pieces of teardrop shaped wood, each of them in a various shade of blue, and she was finally getting around to the next step in this particular piece. She'd spent a lot of handwavey time in the library, scouring through language dictionaries, until she had enough, and now she was delicately writing a single word on each piece in her copious amounts of downtime.

lágrimas. tranen. слезы. . machozi. roimata.

One after the other. Twenty-seven words for tears.

Well, not quite twenty-seven yet. She wanted to leave a few for some words that weren't Earth words, but the problem with that was that she'd have to ask people if they knew any others she could add, but she wasn't doing too well on the whole actually talking to people thing.

Covent Garden is open!
