Although Amaya was definitely feeling that itch to really sink her hammer into some big new project, she found herself with a particular urge to take care of all her tools, for some odd reason. Nothing wrong with that, of course! Hadn't she just said earlier that week how important it was for a good craftsman to have good tools? And tools didn't stay good for long without the proper care and handling.
Since she had an awful lot of tools, too, this was definitely an all day sort of project, and it included discovering quite a bit of tools that she'd made (or had started to make before getting distracted by a different project) that she was thinking she'd definitely need to revisit. Because who wouldn't want a particularly loud and clanky little automaton whose sole purpose was to go around looking for nails you'd dropped? Or a self-swinging hammer? Or literally anything, but just with fire added to it?
