It was no big secret that the alternate kids weekend was not exactly Amaya's favorite weekend, but it was, if anything, tolerable...just so long as she didn't go and do something like thinking about any of it too deeply, but there was no problem there, because not thinking about anything too deeply was kind of her M.O. And that's where work came in, and it was definitely back to business as usual with fewer helping hands around the shop.

Besides, this year, Zephyr managed to provide Amaya with a list of all the things she'd upgraded for the Crumbler back (ahead?) in her timeline, as well as a few sketches and diagrams, and Amaya had been spending a good deal of her time that day looking them over and scratching her head as some of the construction and the enhancements.

"Now how in the blazes did I manage to come up with that?" she muttered to herself, squinting at the parchment for a moment before looking at the Crumbler, tilting her head, blinking a little, and then bam! "Oh! All I have to do is take this, and move it here, and add one of these...Ha! Brilliant! Nicely done, future Amaya! That's really using your head there, I've got to hand it to you!"

Lather, rinse, repeat.

She could be at this for a while.
