Once she made it inside the shop, Astrid wasn't surprised to find a few polar bears eventually making their way through the door, and she was pretty sure the Cokes they were offering her weren't intended to be actual payment for plants, but it just seemed fair that if they were giving her something, she should give them something back.
And it seemed a good way to handle their apparently still persistent bonsai problem.
She didn't even know how polar bears felt about bonsai, and they probably wouldn't fare well in the cold climate that she could only assume they'd return to after this particular flash of Fandom silliness was over, but they seemed content enough, so long as she took the Cokes, which were now being lined up on the counter and positioned to catch the light in certain ways so that she could practice capturing it in her sketchbook.
